The 'Right to Service Act' has come into effect in
Maharashtra from today. With this, you will no longer need to cross the
threshold of government offices to get as many as 43 government services like
birth certificate, marriage certificate, license.
You will now be able to get as many as 43 government
services from home with a single click. For this, you will have to apply on the
government website... and you will be able to get the services you want within
a certain period.

for Housing Ravindra Waikar has informed.

Department, Registration and Stamps Department, Rural Development and Panchayat
Raj Department, Labour Department, Water Resources Department, Directorate of
Government Printing, Stationery and Publication, Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship Department, Forest Department and Registration and Stamps
Department online.

fine
The state government has made a provision to
penalize the officials who are negligent in the 'Right to Service Act'. If you
do not get the service within the stipulated time, the responsible officer will
be fined from Rs 500 to Rs 5000.
Although the Service Guarantee Act currently covers
only 43 services, the number of these services is likely to increase to 135 by
March next year.
